Hi, I’m Regan, the educator, esthetician, and storyteller behind First Blush.

I created this space because beauty shouldn’t feel exclusive, mysterious, or reserved for people who already “know what they’re doing.” Makeup is not a talent bestowed at birth. It’s a skill you learn, refine, and claim as your own. And I’m here to teach you how.

Because this service is offered in a group setting, the artist will walk through a general look such as a smokey eye or soft glam if the group may also request a lesson for a more specific event, such as an appropriate wedding look.

The artist will be able to answer questions from the group as they work through the makeup application; however, if guest begins to monopolize the group’s time, the artist might suggest they book a one-on-one lesson. This is for the benefit of the group as well as the individual, as we want to ensure everyone has time to ask questions and receive personalized guidance.

While we love to experiment and learn more about products and brands, we also want to ensure the group has enough time to make it through the look while asking questions. We recommend sticking to products and brands you are already comfortable with and know how they apply and perform. We recommend booking a one-on-one lesson if you are interested in a deep dive into new products.

The goal of my lessons is to help you identify and use what you already have in your makeup bag. However, if you are looking to rebuild your kit, try something new, or replace expired makeup, I offer Kit Building Sessions as well! This is a personalized in-store shopping session with me. We can discuss budget, brands, and help ensure you have everything you need to succeed!

We want it to feel like you are doing your makeup with one of your good friends, and it’s a fun and encouraging atmosphere. In our experience, this environment is more comfortable and leads clients to feel more confident.
